Can you manage the extension and the kitchen fitting as one project?
We manage the structural work, extension, and internal preparation — plastering, screeding, plumbing first fix and electrical first fix. Most clients use a kitchen fitter for the units and worktops, but we coordinate the timing so the space is ready exactly when they need it.
Do bifold doors need planning permission?
Not usually — bifold doors installed in an existing rear wall are a like-for-like opening and don't typically need planning permission. If you are extending at the same time, we deal with all planning matters as part of the project.
How long does a kitchen extension project take?
A kitchen with a single-storey rear extension typically runs 10 to 14 weeks from groundworks to a skimmed, ready-to-fit finish. A structural knock through without an extension usually takes 2 to 3 weeks including plastering.
Can you install underfloor heating?
Yes. We install electric or water-fed underfloor heating systems to the floor before the screed is poured, so everything is embedded cleanly with no visible pipes or cables.
