The Project

A Rear Extension Built to Last

This Willaston family wanted to transform the back of their home into a large, open-plan kitchen and dining space that opened directly onto the garden. Working from plans drawn up by Evolve Architects Wirral, CNR Construction delivered the full project from groundworks through to kitchen fit-out.

The dark engineering brick exterior was specified to complement the existing property while giving the extension a contemporary edge. Large sliding glazed doors run across the full rear elevation, flooding the new kitchen with natural light and connecting the living space to the paved patio outside.

All structural work was carried out in-house by the CNR team, including groundworks, cavity wall construction, roof structure, and the steel installation. Building regulations sign-off was obtained on completion. The project ran over three months from start to handover.
